Vaporesso Armour Octa Mod
The Vaporesso Armour Octa Mod is a rugged 220W dual-18650 box mod designed for experienced vapers who want high power, replaceable batteries and the freedom to choose their own compatible vape tank. Powered by Vaporesso’s AXON 3.0 chipset, it combines adjustable output with a 0.96-inch TFT display, Battery Guard protection and enhanced resistance to water, dust and everyday impacts. Two suitable 18650 batteries are required and sold separately, making the Armour Octa Mod a flexible option for vapers who prefer removable cells over a permanently built-in battery.

AXON 3.0 Power Up To 220W
The Armour Octa Mod uses Vaporesso’s AXON 3.0 chipset, delivering adjustable output from 5W up to a maximum of 220W.

Its upgraded Boost mode maintains stable power delivery, making the device suitable for a broad range of compatible sub-ohm tanks and higher-powered vaping setups.

A clear 0.96-inch TFT display provides key vaping information at a glance, while the swipe-to-lock system lets you secure the controls when carrying the device.

Dual 18650 Battery Power
The Vaporesso Armour Octa Mod is powered by two external 18650 batteries, which are not included.

Using replaceable cells gives you the flexibility to swap in a charged matched pair rather than waiting for a built-in battery to recharge.

For best practice, use two suitable high-drain 18650 batteries of the same make, model and age that have been purchased, charged and used together.

Battery Guard Protection
Vaporesso’s Battery Guard system monitors the voltage difference between the two installed batteries.

If the difference between the cells exceeds 0.9V, the device cuts power output. This provides an additional layer of protection against significantly unbalanced batteries.

Battery Guard should still be used alongside normal removable-battery best practice rather than as a substitute for using a properly matched pair of suitable cells.

The Armour Octa Mod has been designed for more demanding everyday use.

Charging And Overheat Protection
USB-C charging supports up to DC 5V/2.5A.

The Armour Octa also includes charging over-temperature protection. If the device detects a temperature above 75°C during charging, the charging process is stopped.

For regular removable-battery use, a dedicated external charger remains a practical option for charging matched cells outside the device.

Overtime 2.0 Protection
Vaporesso’s Overtime 2.0 system helps reduce the risk of accidental extended firing.

If a single activation exceeds approximately ten seconds, output is cut.

If two overtime activations are detected within two minutes, the device powers itself off.

This works alongside Battery Guard and charging protection to provide multiple safeguards for a high-powered dual-battery box mod.

Choose Your Own Compatible Tank
Because this is the standalone Armour Octa Mod, no tank or coils are included.

That makes it suitable for vapers who already own a compatible tank or want to choose their own setup rather than purchasing another complete kit.

If you want the Armour Octa supplied with Vaporesso’s iTank T Dual Mesh Tank and GTi Dual Mesh coils, choose the Vaporesso Armour Octa Kit instead.

This clear distinction also means you can choose the Mod if you already have a preferred sub-ohm tank and simply need a new high-powered dual-18650 device.
